Lisa Wild Healey

Biography: Born New York and raised in Pennsylvania, Lisa, went to Allegheny College for art but fell into teaching and enjoyed art and gifted for 25 years. After raising twins with her husband of 32 years, she is now able to pursue her art fully. This includes ceramic sculpture and macro photography inspired by nature and environment. Her work shows people in and connected to their environment, often combining human and natural forms. Lisa has enjoyed showing at several Kansas City galleries including Buttonwood Art Space, Jone’s Gallery, Hilliard Gallery,Leedy-Voulkos Art Center, Albrecht Kemper Museum and has shown in the Praxis Gallery, Minneapolis, MN. She is involved witring for Lenexa.
